inges idee – Art in public space, by Marion Wild

Translations for a bilingual German/English art book, published by Starfruit Publications in 2024. This involved creatively interpreting and translating a series of creative, humorous and whimsical "stories" conjured up to showcase a selection of public art installations.

“Your translations of these texts are great, I really love them, thanks!”

Article by the art critic Nicolas Bourriaud

Translation of “Artificial Intelligence and Climate Change, the New Challenges Facing Contemporary Art”, featured in a publication to coincide with the Maxxi Bulgari Prize 2024 at the National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome (published by Quodlibet).

This led to a follow-up project, translating another article by the same writer for the same museum, this time on the relational art movement of the 1990s.

Translations about public art installations in Malmö

Translations centred around a specific sculptural installation called “Stad för lekar” (“City for play”) created by Birgitta Stenberg-Hultén in 1967.

The client was grateful I was able to step in and lend my expertise to this project, which had a tight deadline and budget, without compromising on quality.
